Serve at Living Faith
“There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.”
1 Corinthians 12:4-7 (NIV)

It is important then to come with a positive attitude and provide a smile and warm welcome to all those who arrive for worship. Welcome Center Hosts should arrive at 9:00 am and typically stay at the Connection Table until 10:45 (15 minutes after worship begins) to greet latecomers and make guests feel welcome. Additionally, Hosts will do the following:
Wear a name tag that includes your first and last name.
Prepare coffee and snack ahead of the worship service
Provide bulletins so guests can follow the worship and get a sense of what your church is about.
Provide a warm and friendly welcome to those who’ve come to worship – especially to anyone who is a guest to Living Faith. Introduce yourself with a handshake if appropriate.
Answer any questions guests may have about our church, ministry programs, denomination etc. Provide any brochures if helpful.
Be familiar with the different ministry leaders in your congregation so you’re able to connect and introduce those who may be new to your church.
Be familiar with your building so as to direct guests appropriately.
3 hours, from 9:00am – Noon, approximately once a month
In order to develop people in their ministry roles, it is important that Welcome Center Hosts are provided with training. Such a meeting will orient those who are new to this role and refresh memories of those who have done this before, as well as give the group the feeling of being united in this ministry – that they are part of a team.
Training will be provided in greeting, using the coffee system, and educating guests and members about church programing
